Thalmann Maschinenbau of Frauenfeld, Switzerland, builds long folding machines for roofing, facade and architectural sheet metal. The company grew from Otto Thalmann’s one-man workshop founded in 1948 and delivered its first long folder in 1960. Cidan Machinery Group acquired Thalmann in 2022 and kept Frauenfeld as its long folder plant.
