Description
Industrial 55″ wide sheet metal slitter machine.
- Goes with set of four pairs of slitting blades.
- Shaft diameter 3.35″, both top and bottom shafts have bearing support for heavy gauge metal and perforation stability.
- Capacity – 16-30 gauge (depends on quantity of cuts)
- Operational speed 150 f/m with default AC Motor 3Hp 110v Single ph. 20 amps.
- Three or single phase 220v motors and operational speed are optional.

What to check on a used slitter
- Inspect every knife pair for chips, dullness and matched diameters; price a replacement set.
- Check the arbors and bearings for play and listen for noise under load.
- Slit a test strip and measure width, burr and camber over 10 feet.
- Look at the straightener rolls and decoiler mandrel for wear and leaks.
- Confirm the control model, software version and support for automatic knife setting.
- Verify power requirements, line length and weight before planning the move.
