Description
RAS model 61.31 16g x 10ft cnc folder. System 5000 controller, 39″ cnc backgauge, portable foot control. Elec: 220v 3ph 60cy.
Machine is all in good condition as taken from service.
What to check on a used cnc folder
- Fold a 24-gauge test piece the full length and check that the angle is the same at both ends.
- Sight down the clamping and bending beams for straightness and look for crowning repairs.
- Inspect the tooling edges for nicks, chips and uneven wear, and note which segments are included.
- Check the backgauge for play, limit switch function and repeatability over several moves.
- Confirm the control model, software version, and whether the manufacturer still supports it.
- Verify the power requirement and the machine's footprint and weight before you plan the move.
