Used Cidan Machines for Sale
Cidan Machinery builds folding machines, shears and coil processing lines for sheet metal and roofing shops. The company traces its start to a Swedish workshop in Götene founded in 1907, and engineering is still done there today. Cidan A/S in Denmark bought the Götene factory in 1993, the US arm opened in Georgia in 2007 and now operates from Peachtree City, and the group added Austria’s Forstner Maschinenbau and, in March 2022, the Swiss long folder maker Thalmann. In North America Cidan is best known for its CNC folders. Used 10-foot and 13-foot Pro and Forma series machines with combi beams and segmented tooling turn up regularly, often from architectural sheet metal shops upgrading to longer machines. When you look at a used Cidan, confirm the control version and software support, check the beam for straightness, and list which tooling segments and the backgauge come with it. Cidan also sells slitting and cut-to-length coil lines that pair with its folders.
