RAS Reinhardt Maschinenbau of Sindelfingen, Germany, has built sheet metal machines since 1946 and delivered its first folding machine in 1949; the company says its 1968 model was the first NC-controlled folder. RAS Systems, the US subsidiary, opened in 1992 and distributes from Peachtree City, Georgia.
