Used Schechtl Machines for Sale

Schechtl Maschinenbau is a family company in Edling, Bavaria, that has built sheet metal machines since Josef Schechtl opened a forge in 1910. Its first bending machine, the KS1, came in 1932; powered folders and shears followed in 1969, a CNC control for swivel bending machines in 1986, and by 1999 the company was selling more than 2,000 machines a year. All Schechtl machines are built in Germany, and the current range covers folding machines, swivel benders, segmented folders, guillotine shears, press brakes and coil handling. In the US, Schechtl folders are sold through MetalForming and often paired with New Tech Machinery roof panel machines; the MAX-F CNC folder has been bundled with the SSQ3 MultiPro. Used MAB, MAE and MAX series folders from the 1990s onward are common on the market. Check beam straightness, tooling condition and whether the control generation is still supported, and confirm three-phase power and the machine’s footprint before you arrange freight.
